Marriage

Because marriage is both a vocation (a calling from God) and a sacrament, special gifts and graces are given to the couple entering Matrimony. Participants enter into the sacrament of Matrimony with the intention that their union will be permanent, faithful, and fruitful.

Either the bride or groom (or both) must be a registered, active member (attend Mass each Sunday and on Holy Days of Obligation) for at least 6 months before a wedding date can be reserved and regularly contribute to the support of the parish.

Couples must successfully complete a marriage preparation program with the pastor.  Please note that a date for a wedding cannot be set without prior consultation.
