Help Those in Need
“I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” – Matthew 25:35-36
Catholic Charities provides assistance for people in need by distributing clothing, household goods, toiletries and children’s necessities. They also provide Immigration Counseling and Pregnancy Support Services to assist women by arranging pre-natal care, etc. They also have a state certified case manager who works with indigent, elderly, disabled, abused or victimized clients to strive for self-sufficiency.
