It is with great sadness that we must suspend all Masses and activities until further notice. COVID-19 has dramatically affected us all in so many ways. Remember that the Lord Jesus is in our midst now and always. As he touched lives, healed the sick and ministered with love and merciful compassion throughout the Gospels, know that he will continue to do so for us.
This outbreak affords us an opportunity to love and reach out in new ways to family, friends and neighbors. Know that you live in the shelter of the Most High. "My refuge and my Fortress; my God, in whomI trust (Psalm 91:102). If you know someone who is lonely, sick or depressed, call them and encourage them with a message of God's hope. If you are aware of church parishioners who are shut in, sick or alone, please call the church office at 843-281-6421 with the person's name so we can check in on them. Please be patient. This crisis will end. We all greatly miss the regular Holy Eucharist. Be sure we shall resume the usual celebrations as soon as possible.
Please continue praying and offering acts of charity for the end of the Coronvirus outbreak. Let us pray for those suffering with this disease, healing for the affected and protection and safety for all, guidance and wisdom for our leaders, strength and protection for Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Professionals, and relief for all those affected by the social and economic impact of this outbreak.
Hope in God's power and keep praying regularly.
Sincerely yours in the Lord.
